Restricted Breeds & Species

To maintain safety, property preservation, and health standards for current and future residents, we strictly enforce the following exclusions.

Restricted Breeds: Pit Bulls & Rottweilers

Pitt Bulls and Rottweilers (including any purebreds or mixed breeds containing these lines) are strictly prohibited from all properties.

Policy Explanation & Rationale

This restriction is maintained due to strict insurance policy requirements and legal liability frameworks governing property management. Legal precedents in liability cases often impose overwhelming legal exposure on both tenants and landlords in incident claims involving these specific breeds. To protect our tenants, standard operations and insurance coverage, we cannot accommodate exceptions.

Species Restriction: Feline Exclusion

Cats are strictly prohibited at all On The Mark Companies rental properties without exception.

Policy Explanation & Health Notice

Feline dander and microscopic protein allergens embed deeply into HVAC ductwork, flooring sublayers, wall surfaces, and building insulation. Even after aggressive professional deep-cleaning and carpet replacement, cat allergens persist for several years. This poses severe, long-term health risks and triggers allergic reactions for future tenants who suffer from cat allergies.

Resident Responsibilities

All approved pet owners are required to adhere to community standards.

Property Protection

Tenants are 100% financially responsible for any physical damage to doors, flooring, landscaping, or trim caused by pets.

Noise Control

Pets must not disturb neighbors with excessive barking or noise. Repeated noise complaints may jeopardize pet approval status.
